Established in 2012, MCR Motorsport Media is a small but passionate firm, dedicated to the world of sports marketing and promotion, specialising in rallying, racing, brands and businesses.
Having been around motorsport since the early 80's, former British Rally Championship competitor Matt Cotton is at the helm with a diverse knowledge of all aspects of the the sport, from organising, management to competing.
THE EARLY YEARS
MCR was established in 2012 as budget restraints forced Matt out of the driving seat and into the field as a reporter for the British Rally Championship - BRC Live radio network.
His role as a reporter and experiences in the sport meant he was a natural draw for other competitors and soon found himself spending his spare time helping crews and events with their promotional requirements.
Coupled with his day job as a Marketing Manager for a car dealership group, his client list began growing at a rapid rate, securing several high-profile drivers and championships. In the process, MCR was established as one of the “go-to” motorsport media firms in the country.
PROGRESSION & THE FUTURE
Establishing a small but powerful team, MCR expanded quickly, becoming a full time concern in 2015. This enabled the team to work at all levels of the sport, from clubman to World Championship level, being employed by some of the biggest names in motorsport.
The MCR portfolio has also grown in that time, adding video content creation, management and consultancy to their offerings and are always looking for new and dynamic outlets - there is never time to sit still in motorsport!
